(logo)  Using your own pointer images

Purpose

To indicate special areas in a document, AWeb changes the default Intuition pointer into a different shape. Such areas include hyperlinks and the borders of a resizeable frame.

Note that displaying a different pointer over a hyperlink can be turned off.

Installing your own images

AWeb looks for the following special files to read the pointer image definition:
AWeb:images/handpointer Contains the definition for the hand-shaped pointer to be displayed for a hyperlink.
AWeb:images/hsizepointer Contains the definition for the pointer to be displayed for a horizontal resizeable frame edge (top or bottom edge).
AWeb:images/vsizepointer Contains the definition for the pointer to be displayed for a vertical resizeable frame edge (left or right edge).

You can replace these files with your own to change the appearance of the pointer. Note that you will have to restart AWeb for any changes to take effect. If one of the files is missing, a default shape will be used.

Each file should contain 1 to 16 lines describing the pointer imagery. Each line should contain 1 to 16 digits, one for each pointer pixel. Every 0, 1, 2 or 3 in a line specifies the corresponding pointer colour. Add 4 to a digit to indicate the pointer hot spot. Other characters (like spaces) will translate to colour 0.
